Q. How does the Chair Apron work?
Q. Can I wash my chair apron in the washing machine?
A. (Laminated)Yes, you can wash your Chair Apron in the washing machine on a cold cycle, hang dry only. A. (Linen)Wash linen in the washing machine set on a cold cycle. Straighten the fabrics before hanging to dry avoid direct sunlight which may bleach the fabric. Do not tumble dry your linen fabrics. Use an iron while still damp.
Q. Can I iron my Chair Apron?
A. (Laminated) If your Chair Apron is wrinkled you can iron the UNDERSIDE ONLY on low/med heat, be sure not to touch the iron on any laminated portions. ( I cover my Chair Apron with a towel to make sure it does not get damaged.)
A. (Linen) Use an iron while still damp.
Q. Is the Laminated Chair Apron an oil cloth or coated with vinyl?
A. Absolutely not. We have gone through extensive product research to make sure you have a product suitable for your little ones. All Chair Aprons are PVC, BPA, Lead, Phthalate, and Formaldehyde Free!
Q. Do the Chair Aprons come in more than one size?
A. Chair Aprons come in a standard size that fit chair seats up to 22"W x 22"D. All sizes are designed to have a 4" edge around the sides and front of chair (we've already done the calculations so no worries about adding these numbers to find the right size.)
Q. Are the Chair Aprons durable?
A. Definitely, the only maintence we have done is an occasional straightening, tightening, and wiping with a sponge:) Since the Laminated Chair Apron is made of a laminated cotton it has double strenghth, a standard woven cotton fabric, then a layer of laminate.
Q. What does the Laminated Chair Apron feel like, does is have a sticky feel?
A. No, it has a surprisingly soft supple feel. The fabric is very flexible, and is very comfortable to sit on even when bare skin is touching.
Q. Is the Chair Apron only for my 5 year old to use during mealtime?
A. You can use Chair Aprons to enhance the appearance of your dining chairs also under space saving highchairs, under booster seats, during arts and crafts time, and on a vanity chairs.
